Major Update: More Farming, Fighting, and Fun

Wish Guardian is a cozy game with a deck builder twist. What you farm, you craft into combat cards, which you then use to unlock new crops.

So far, Wish Guardian has mainly been focused on getting the core mechanics to a solid state. Making a farming sim is a lot. Making a deck builder combat game is a lot. Doing both?  A LOT. It has been two years of development, with varying stages of success.

This was us a year ago:

But now? We have farming, crafting, card-based combat, and rpg systems all up and running. You can farm crops quickly, craft cards from those materials, and fight wraiths. In your spare time, you can talk to NPCs and go fishing. At this point, it's time to flesh out the bones of it. We have over 50 cards to craft out of 12 different crops, and 13 characters to start befriending. By the end of the summer, we plan to have implemented three times that many cards, implemented twice that many crops crops, and fully fleshed out the NPCs. 

Even more exciting news: our first dungeon is finished! Just don't expect to get to the bottom on the first try. Instead, try to enjoy the journey. There's no punishment for failing.
